We had a very busy day on the Awards Circuit yesterday, with the LAOFCS, AFCC, and DFC all announcing their winners and nominees. We also got the Annie Awards and AMPAS announcing news about the year in film. AMPAS gave us some insight into the Visual Effects race, narrowing our scope to 20 films. The Annie Awards gave further clarification on the Animated Feature race, as well as more insight into visual effects. It’s been a good start to the season, and today, we get the American Film Institute, or AFI, announcing their top 10 films and television programs of the year.
